• To remain dedicated to the preservation and well-being of the Colonial Spanish Horse while educating the public on their unique breed characteristics and historic cultural significance.
  • To guide individuals to develop healthy, positive life skills and to provide them with education, innovation, and support using equine assisted therapy and equine assisted education models.
Rancho Del Sueño utilizes proven learning models and offers interactive opportunities for the public to learn about the horses and share time with these magnificent creatures.  It has been demonstrated over a millennium of time that horses have been partners, soul mates and even considered deities throughout the world.  Horses have also demonstrated healing qualities that have endured the test of time.  They remain today as an important resource used in human recovery, both mental and physical.

Rancho Del Sueño works with psychologists, therapists, schools, hospitals, residential programs, court services, families, and corporations to achieve clients’ goals.  Equine Assisted Psychotherapy, Equine Assisted Learning, Corporate Leadership & Development, and Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association (EAGALA) services are some of the core programs offered at Rancho Del Sueño.  Our facilitating teams include licensed therapists, equine specialists and when appropriate, other qualified specialists.  This team approach allows us to provide individualized, quality services for our clients.

Rancho Del Sueño offers interactive activities with our horses in order to help individuals build confidence and improve their self-esteem, communication and social skills, relationships, and personal awareness.  These activities help people learn to establish reasonable boundaries and earn respect.  The horses are a critical part of this program as they provide immediate, indisputable feedback regarding the participants’ behavior.  The horses also teach us about trust, respect, relationships, parenting, friendship, and unconditional love.
